The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive operational and analytical support to the regional sales organization. This role combines administrative support, data management, and performance analytics to ensure that regional sales teams operate efficiently, maintain data quality, and have access to actionable insights. The Sales Operations Analyst reports to the regional Sales Ops Supervisor and works closely with sales teams, Finance, and global Sales Operations to support forecasting, reporting, process compliance, and continuous improvement. This position is critical to maintaining operational consistency, ensuring accurate data, and providing visibility into sales performance and pipeline health at the regional level.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to regional sales teams, including:
- CRM data entry, maintenance, and quality assurance
- Sales collateral and documentation management
- Contract and documentation support
- General administrative tasks that support sales team productivity
- Ensure that administrative processes are efficient, consistent, and aligned with global standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows and reduce burden on sales teams.
- Maintain regional sales operations documentation, including processes, reference materials, and templates.
- Support the onboarding of new sales team members, ensuring they have access to necessary tools, documentation, and training.
- Ensure the regional CRM environment is properly maintained and optimized to support the global sales process.
- Monitor regional CRM adoption and data quality, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Perform regular CRM data audits to identify gaps, duplicates, inaccuracies, and outdated information.
- Implement corrective actions to improve data quality and ensure compliance with global data standards.
- Provide CRM training and support to regional sales teams, ensuring they understand how to use the system effectively.
- Escalate CRM configuration issues, system problems, or data quality concerns to the Sales Ops Supervisor and global Sales Effectiveness Coordinator.
- Support regional sales teams in maintaining accurate, complete, and timely CRM data.
- Document CRM processes and best practices for regional reference.
- Support the development and maintenance of regional performance dashboards and reports aligned with global standards.
- Collect, validate, and compile regional performance data from the CRM and other sources.
- Create and update regional performance dashboards that provide visibility into:
- Sales team performance metrics (revenue, pipeline, activity, conversion rates)
- Individual sales rep performance
- Pipeline health and forecast status
- Achievement vs. targets
- KPI performance
- Ensure dashboards are accurate, timely, and provide actionable insights to regional leadership and sales teams.
- Conduct performance analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular performance reporting to the Sales Ops Supervisor and regional sales leadership.
- Support regional sales leadership in interpreting performance data and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Create ad-hoc reports and analyses to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Collecting and validating forecast data from sales teams
- Analyzing pipeline data and conversion probabilities
- Providing historical performance data and trend analysis
- Identifying forecast risks and opportunities
- Ensuring forecast data is accurate and complete
- Support regular pipeline reviews to assess health, conversion probability, and achievement likelihood.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and provide feedback to sales teams on forecast quality.
- Support monthly/quarterly forecast update processes, ensuring data is collected, validated, and reported on schedule.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support sales and Finance discussions on forecast performance and adjustments.
- Escalate significant forecast risks or opportunities to the Sales Ops Supervisor.
- Support regional target tracking and achievement monitoring.
- Collect and validate regional target achievement data for reporting to the Sales Planning & Performance Coordinator.
- Track regional SIP (Sales Incentive Plan) achievement and provide regular reporting to the Sales Ops Supervisor.
- Assist with SIP administration at the regional level
- Collecting regional SIP data (targets, achievement, payouts)
- Validating SIP calculations
- Supporting SIP communications and training
- Addressing regional SIP questions and issues
- Provide regular updates on target achievement and SIP status to regional leadership.
- Monitor regional compliance with global sales processes, standards, and directives.
- Identify process deviations and escalate to the Sales Ops Supervisor.
- Support the implementation of new global processes and tools at the regional level.
- Maintain regional process documentation and ensure it is accessible to sales teams.
- Provide feedback to the Sales Ops Supervisor on process effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Act as a key operational support resource for regional sales teams, Finance, and the Sales Ops Supervisor.
- Collaborate with regional Finance teams on forecasting, planning, and SIP administration.
- Support communication and alignment between regional sales teams and global Sales Operations.
- Provide regular updates to the Sales Ops Supervisor on regional operations status, data quality, and performance trends.
- Escalate regional issues, risks, or opportunities that require attention from the Sales Ops Supervisor or global Sales Operations.
- Identify regional operational improvement opportunities and share recommendations with the Sales Ops Supervisor.
- Participate in global Sales Operations forums and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay current with sales operations best practices and industry trends.
- Support the implementation of global process improvements and tool enhancements at the regional level.
- Gather feedback from regional sales teams on operational effectiveness and data quality.

Work Experience:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in sales operations, sales support, business operations, or data analysis.
- Experience managing CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and strong background in data management, and administrative support.
- Experience with sales analytics, reporting, and performance management.
- Familiarity with sales forecasting and target-setting processes.
- Experience working with sales teams and supporting their operational needs.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop solutions; ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality; ability to manage complex datasets and ensure consistency.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in CRM systems (Salesforce), Excel, and reporting/analytics tools; ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and with diverse stakeholders; ability to explain data and insights clearly.
- Organization & Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Forecasting & Financial Acumen: Understanding of sales forecasting methodologies and financial planning concepts; ability to support accurate forecasting and planning.
- Process Orientation: Understanding of sales processes and ability to ensure compliance with standards; ability to document and communicate processes clearly.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment, manage changing priorities, and adapt to new tools and processes.
- English (fluent, required).
- Regional language proficiency (Spanish for Americas/Europe, Mandarin/local languages for APAC) is highly advantageous.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
