You’ll shape policies and tooling, build dashboards that make insights unmistakable, and raise data literacy across domains so better decisions happen everywhere.


What you are going to do

As a Group Data Management Consultant, you will be the driving force behind NN Group’s data management strategy. Your mission is to ensure that data across the organization is accurate, consistent, and trusted—forming the foundation for AI adoption and data‑driven decision‑making.

You’ll work within the Data Management Office, collaborating with data stewards, domain experts, and business units to implement standards, data quality and management dashboards, and governance frameworks. This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution: from shaping policies to guiding remediation and training initiatives.

Your impact will be felt across the entire organization as you foster a culture of data literacy, empower teams with the right tools, and make data quality visible and actionable.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with other teams to establish and implement data management standards and policies throughout NN Group, ensuring consistency and compliance

  • Promote a unified way of working across all business units by demonstrating best practices

  • Provide clear insights into data management metrics for stakeholders

  • Monitor and analyze data management trends to identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate with domains and data teams to remediate data management-related issues and support governance implementation

  • Create and deliver training programs that enhance data literacy and promote best practices throughout the organization

  • Proven experience in data quality management or a similar role within a complex organization

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and guiding diverse teams

  • Hands‑on experience with data governance frameworks and tooling, including dashboard development and reporting

  • A passion for data literacy and continuous improvement, with the ability to design and deliver effective training programs

You’ll work alongside data stewards, data quality officers, and governance experts who share a passion for turning data into a trusted asset.

Your network will extend beyond the central team. You’ll partner with business units, IT specialists, and domain experts across the organization to embed data quality practices into everyday operations. Together, you’ll create dashboards, implement tooling, and champion a culture of data literacy that empowers every team to make smarter decisions.
