Job Description & Summary

A. F. Ferguson & Co. (a member firm of the PwC network) is seeking a Project Trainee for the Chief Data Office department. This role involves supporting and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of data governance processes within our firm.

Examples of the responsibilities you need to lead and deliver at this level include but are not limited to:

  • Responsibilities:
    • Assist in evaluating data sets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and support the implementation of data quality metrics and KPIs.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of governance policies and procedures.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and quality requirements, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Help facilitate training sessions and workshops on data governance best practices.
    • Prepare reports on data quality metrics and governance activities.
    • Document findings and create presentations for stakeholders, as needed.
    • Aid in the execution of data governance projects, tracking progress, and providing updates to the team.
    • Help maintain repositories to ensure accurate and consistent data definitions across local and global dictionaries.

  • Requirements:
    • Candidates must be currently in their last year of pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
    • Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for data analysis and reporting.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in project management and stakeholder engagement.
    • Curiosity to learn, resilience, cultural awareness, and a can-do attitude
