Data Governance Lead - Assistant Vice President

We are in search of a proficient and hands-on technical lead to drive the Data Governance Technology solutions focused on Structured and Unstructured Data Management. You will work with Application Architects, Managers, Stakeholders in understanding and designing solutions to enhance data management and governance health.

As a Data Governance Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop data governance technology solutions involving Collibra Data Intelligence Catalog, Data Quality that align to regulatory and firm requirements.
  • Understanding the requirements / use cases from the product owners and derive the technical design for the expectations
  • Hands on experience with the cloud environment & related services which helps to automate & integrate the solutions
  • Work collaboratively with other IT functions like Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Network Infrastructure and Platforms etc. to deliver efficient solutions.
  • Good experience of working in implementing SDLC process agile methodology
  • Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate & lead the team on technical and functional aspects

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or a related field.
  • 15 - 18 years of relevant experience.
  • Solutions delivery experience on Data Governance platforms (Collibra, Data Quality tools, etc.)
  • Understanding Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Unstructured Data Governance.
  • Good knowledge & experience with the AWS cloud Infrastructure Services (EC2, Lambda, Secret Manager etc.)
  • Align to the SDLC implementation with Agile Methodologies – JIRA & Confluence.
  • Good Knowledge of Database management concepts
  • Good knowledge of DevOps process with the Git repository management, Jenkins
  • Clear understanding of dependencies and support requirements from various IT functions
  • Proven ability to develop and work with cross functional processes and project timeline
  • Excellent follow-through, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Preferred to have AWS, Collibra Certifications
