Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Governance Foundation Senior Analyst for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Conduct analysis of business data for evaluation of project impacts and operational efficiencies, and provide appropriate recommendations of systems and process enhancements. Serve as a subject matter expert to navigate through intricate business challenges and address pivotal discrepancies. Define necessary system enhancements and deploy new projects of process enhancements. Spearhead the restructuring initiatives, seamlessly implementing robust business methodologies. Consult with business end users to ensure effective operational functions are integrated to meet the business goals. Craft bespoke analytical reports that are aligned with executive metric requests, ensuring strict compliance with organizational standards. Leverage robust analytics in the discernment and validation of intricate material. Impart comprehensive knowledge of departmental regulations to new and existing employees, facilitating a smooth transition of information while upholding stringent standards. Identify any quality issues with analytical data and manage remediation process book of work. Investigate data control issues and design and implement effective solutions. Use SQL for data extractions and build robust data foundation that can effectively support the data-driven business decision-making. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of as a Data Governance Foundation Analyst, Business Analyst, Business Program Manager, Product Manager, or related position involving business data analysis and operational process enhancement management in the global financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: Development of new techniques, models and plans; Leverage robust analytics in the discernment and validation of intricate material; Managing data improvement initiatives, processes, and creation of tools; Performing data profiling to discover, understand and provide transparency into inconsistent data; Addressing inconsistencies in data and resolving data quality issues in applications; Supporting optimization of metrics reporting processes; Utilizing and understanding banking and financial regulatory controls; and Business data reporting and communications.
