NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as a Data Governance Expert. In this position, you will ensure that all data and AI solutions are highquality, secure, and fully compliant with regulatory and internal standards. The role aligns business, IT, and governance practices to create transparent, reliable data that maximizes organizational value.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all legal, technical, and business documentation for AI solutions is created, maintained, and compliant with relevant regulations and internal standards.
- Align all data management practices—AI‑related and traditional—with applicable laws (GDPR, AI Act) and supervisory guidelines.
- Support and coordinate AI‑related documentation and audits, collaborating closely with Risk, IT Security, and Legal, while identifying risks and contributing to mitigation measures.
- Develop and maintain rules and processes for data quality, metadata management, and access governance, ensuring that data and systems are accessible only on a justified and secure basis; regularly review access structures and support Data Owners.
- Oversee the full data lifecycle, ensuring transparent documentation, accurate data inventories, and up‑to‑date data catalog entries, including anonymization and deletion processes, so the organization clearly understands what data exists and how it is used.
What matters to us:
- College/University degree preferably in Business, Economics, IT
- 3-5 years of experience with data governance, data management, data quality, or data strategy
- Strong understanding of data protection and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR) and internal compliance standards
- Hands‑on experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks (data ownership, stewardship, policies, standards)
- Proven ability to define and improve data quality processes, metrics, and controls
- Ability to act as a bridge between business and IT, facilitating discussions and guiding stakeholders through governance processes
- Experience with SQL
- Fluent English knowledge
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
