About the Role

Oversee the development and maintenance of our enterprise data platform. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for leading a team of data professionals in building scalable data pipelines, managing our RDBMS and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and delivering actionable insights through Power BI and other analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Data Engineers, BI Developers, Data Analysts, and Power Platform specialists.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data architecture to support applications and enterprise-wide analytics.
  • Manage and optimize RDBMS and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security across all data assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business units, and senior management to align data initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Explore and implement AI/ML solutions where applicable to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to IT strategy and roadmap planning, identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, and process optimization.

Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI development.
    • Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering data-driven solutions.
    • Strong proficiency in: SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL tools, Replication tools, Power BI, and Azure Cloud Technology
    • Experience working with large datasets, data modeling, and data integration.
    • Familiarity with financial or insurance industry data is highly preferred.
    • Good communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
