We're now looking for a Data Engineer to join that team, supporting and developing the applications and infrastructure that keep everything running. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern data tools and a passionate team of data professionals, helping us shape the future of transport.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing and supporting our Data Warehouse with new and ongoing improvements, ensuring the business has access to the insights it needs to make better decisions
- Playing an active role in shaping and delivering our data roadmap, contributing your ideas and expertise to how we evolve our capabilities
- Collaborating with project teams and liaising with third parties to share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and keep delivery on track
- Mentoring team members, sharing your experience to help others grow and the team to perform at its best
- Getting involved across the full breadth of our programme of work, a varied and fast-moving portfolio that will keep you challenged and engaged
What we're looking for:
- Experience of developing with Amazon Redshift, ideally alongside Python, ETL and integrations
- A problem solver and natural communicator, comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-focused environment
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage changing priorities, ideally with some experience of Jira and Confluence
- A genuine enthusiasm for what we do and a can-do attitude to match
