About the role

  • Drive data platform enhancements by supporting migration to the cloud initiatives, optimising the MSSQL on-premises data warehouse, and ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.

  • Design and deliver scalable data pipelines using integration solutions such as SSIS and SQL, enabling efficient ETL workflows, unified datasets, and seamless data flow across enterprise systems.

  • Transform complex data into meaningful insights by working with structured and unstructured datasets and building interactive dashboards using Power BI or Qlik.

  • Lead and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams by facilitating workshops, translating reporting requirements, resolving complex technical issues, and building strong partnerships with stakeholders and vendors.

  • Lift data quality and improve processes through root cause analysis, maintaining clear documentation, implementing robust testing strategies, and recommending modern data engineering and analytics solutions.

About you

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, with extensive experience in SQL and business intelligence, and a proven track record working with complex systems.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and strategic thinking by transforming complex data into actionable insights, collaborating with stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and improve clinical outcomes.

  • Adaptable and quick to learn, with proven ability to manage and enhance data quality processes, ensuring accurate reporting that supports informed organisational decision-making.

  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and engage effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

  • Showcase excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently, while effectively leading and collaborating within team environments.
