Data Engineer (F/M/D)

Responsibilities:

  • Data Management

    • Implement ETL processes for structured data with T-SQL

    • Develop, operate, and maintain robust data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components: Data Factory, Warehouse, T-SQL

    • Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models

    • Interface Integration: Design and maintain seamless data interfaces to ensure consistent and accurate data flow between source systems and the data platform.

    • Data Providing: Manage the provisioning of clean, validated data sets to downstream consumers, ensuring timely and efficient data delivery.

    • Collaborate with BI developers, analysts, and data scientists to deliver reliable data products

  • Monitoring & Operation

    • Ensure the stability, performance, and availability of data platforms in production

    • Troubleshoot data pipeline and ETL failures and perform root cause analysis

    • Monitor job executions, implement alerting, and ensure incident resolution

    • Automate routine operations and improve observability (e.g. logging, metrics, dashboards)

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in T-SQL for complex query development, optimization, and troubleshooting.

    • Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory) for data pipeline development and operations.

    • Basic scripting skills in Python and PowerShell for automation

    • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and monitoring

  • Experience: 

  • A profile with 3+ years of experience in Data Management / Data Engineering

  • Proven track record of developing and deploying ETL pipelines, Data Warehouse solution or other data platforms

  • Soft Skills: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Work with teams across departments

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
