In your role as a Consultant at Capco, you play a key role in the delivery of data engineering projects and gain wider exposure to our wider Investment Banking business.
You will work closely with senior clients to design, build and maintain robust, scalable and secure data platforms for leading global banks.
Fitting that description, you will also need to be a supremely motivated person and able to work in a team where clients become colleagues too.
Leverage your existing technical and engineering skills to help clients build and modernise their data ecosystems
Take part in large-scale data transformation programs, focusing on data platforms, pipelines and architecture
Design, develop and maintain reliable, scalable and performant data pipelines (batch and/or streaming)
Enable data-driven use cases by delivering high-quality, well-structured and accessible datasets
Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring robustness, traceability and data quality
Support the implementation of best practices around data engineering, data governance, security and compliance
Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders to understand data needs
Work with or act as project manager to scope, design and deliver data engineering solutions
Professional experience of minimum 2 years in a data engineering or software engineering related position, with a preference for roles within the energy industry (or financial / banking) or a consultancy firm
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or similar)
Strong knowledge of SQL and Python; experience with Spark or similar data processing frameworks is a plus
Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT processes and data modelling
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and modern data stacks is an asset
Being able to work and liaise with various stakeholders, ranging from business to technical stakeholders
You are a problem solver with a hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-oriented mindset
Fluency in French or Dutch AND excellent knowledge of English
