Job Summary

We’re seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our data team. You will be
responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that power
analytics, business intelligence, and data science use cases.
This role is essential in transforming raw data from across the organization into trusted,
accessible, and high-quality datasets used by decision-makers across the company.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both batch and streaming data

- Integrate data from a variety of source systems (e.g., APIs, Kafka, relational databases, file systems)

- Perform data cleansing, enrichment, and validation to ensure data quality and reliability

- Support implementation of data lineage and versioning across pipelines  Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and Platform teams to support cross-functional data needs

- Optimize pipeline performance and manage data partitioning, schema evolution, and table formats

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, fresh graduate with strong potential will also be considered.

- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with strong understanding of data manipulation and performance tuning

- Experience with ETL tools and orchestration frameworks

- Familiarity with big data ecosystems such as Cloudera, Hive, HDFS, or Databricks  Solid understanding of data warehouse/lakehouse design principles and data modeling

Nice to Have

- Experience with real-time data pipelines using Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Flink

- Exposure to cloud platforms (especially Azure)

- Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines and Git-based workflow

- Understanding of data governance, security, and metadata best practices
