Data Coordinator

Columbia, MO Full time

Whether you come from a background in data analytics, artificial intelligence and automated data systems, or information systems, you can be successful in our role. We don’t require a particular degree, but we’re looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise.

Specifically, we’ll be looking for the following qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in data verification, quality assurance, or AI-related fields.

  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or automation tools.

  • Experience in compliance, risk assessment, or regulatory environments.

About the Role:

As a Data Coordinator, you’ll help make sure the data our Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools pull is spot-on. You’ll review, double-check, and analyze AI-generated info to catch and fix any mistakes or missing pieces. Plus, you’ll play a key role in helping our AI get smarter by sharing feedback and flagging any issues you find.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing:

  • Looking over data pulled from documents by AI, making sure it’s accurate and complete, and fixing any errors, gaps, or mix-ups you spot.

  • Using our guidelines and simple data checks to find missing or incomplete info in documents, then logging and sharing what you find so we can keep improving.

  • Digging into any errors or odd spots you find, helping keep our data clean and reliable, and collaborating on projects that boost overall data quality.

  • Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.

About You:

  • You know how to communicate your findings and suggestions in a way that makes sense to everyone.

  • You’re comfortable working on your own, figuring things out as you go, and thinking critically to solve whatever comes your way.

  • Details matter to you, and you’ve got an eye for catching the little things that make a big difference.

  • Providing top-notch customer service comes naturally to you.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and love working as part of a team.

  • Spotting problems and fixing them quickly is something you excel at.

  • You’re comfortable with technology and can navigate basic computer systems with ease.

  • You’re good with numbers and know how to accurately pull meaning from large volumes of data.

  • You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.

About Us:

We’re all about helping Veterans and military families become homeowners. In two short decades, we closed over 500,000 VA Loans and became the #1 VA lender for homebuyers in the nation. We always strive to provide friendly service to military homebuyers and their families. And we always seek to lift up people and communities across the country.

We’re so glad you’re here checking out this opportunity! If this role gets you excited but you’re worried you don’t check every box – don't sweat it. We’re more interested in what you can bring to the team than a perfect checklist.
