Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic team player to work alongside our South East Office team in the critical role of Data Coordinator.

This role will be responsible for the capture and maintenance of the market data that ensures our surveyors have access to reliable, accurate information for client deliverables and strategic decision-making.

Embedded within the South East Office agency team, the Data Coordinator will assume responsibility and act as the Data Subject Matter Expert (SME) for their area. They will collaborate with a network of data coordinators from other regions, supporting each other to enhance the overall quality and management of UK leasing data.

 

Responsibilities

  • Source and input leasing data from multiple sources; to include but not limited to property particulars, investment brochures, email alerts, third-party databases, and market intel gathered from agents (internal and external)

  • Develop own relationships with agents (internal and external), encouraging the seamless flow of market intel into our leasing database (Kato)

  • Verify and reconfirm the accuracy and availability of third-party data by calling agents

  • Own and monitor the data quality for their allocated area and any corrective actions needed to meet the agreed Data Quality (DQ) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Act as the Subject matter expert (SME) for third-party leasing data for their allocated area; administer the leasing database, respond to data requests from the business, address any issues or gaps in the data and promote best practices with internal / external stakeholders

  • Adhoc reporting and bulk data exercises needed to support the wider data team

  • * Where an offshore Data Administrator has been allocated for their area; to act as the point of escalation for queries raised on leasing data and provide guidance and support to improve their data collection processes

 

Skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy (manual review and input vast amount of data)

  • Organized, independent, and effective workload management

  • Team player with excellent communication skills (stakeholder management needed)

  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

  • Accountable and able to take ownership of issues and Data quality

  • Confident telephone manner; cold calling experience is beneficial

 

Experience

  • Property research experience is desirable but not essential

  • Experience inputting large amounts of data from Excel

  • SQL/Power BI knowledge is beneficial but not essential

  • Degree-level education or relevant experience
