We have a great opportunity for a Shift Operations Electrical AP that is required for a key role in our Data Centre Operations, which provides best in class operation and maintenance for our customers critical power generation site.
The role is based at a Dublin Data Centre and is a 4 day on and 4 day off rotation on a 12 hour shift.
The role focuses on system monitoring, implementation of procedures and SSOW, equipment checks and system maintenance and repairs for the client equipment.
The role would suit a candidate who possesses the skills necessary to effectively interpret data from multiple sources, react promptly to event notifications and follow established procedures to rectify and escalate issues, in line with contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
Monitoring customer assets to maximise efficiency in line with contractual terms
Managing and prioritising incoming event notifications to comply with relevant contractual obligations
Providing professional, concise communications to a variety of internal and external customers and stakeholders
Maintain accurate records of all tasks undertaken on the monitoring tool and asset management system.
Ensuring a comprehensive and thorough handover takes place between shift teams to maintain continuity of safe operations and ensure ongoing knowledge of work activities.
Working efficiently in an SLA (Service Level Agreement) driven team environment
Daily site inspections of mechanical & electrical engineering systems and technical equipment.
Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency actions as set out in the agreed procedures.
Issue permits and oversight of third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Producing reports detailing asset availability and performance patterns
Adhering to all applicable company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Qualifications
HNC preferred, ONC minimum in electrical engineering. Level 3 NVQ or similar can be considered with the right training and experience, or have previously worked at SAP level.
S4 HV Safe operation course or equivalent (15kV or greater) - Essential Evidence LOTO training - Essential
Evidence PTW training - Essential
Electrical first aid training - Preferred
Have produced or driven change to standard operating procedures - Preferred
Ideally you would have experience in a similar role within the likes of a Data Centre, Oil and Gas Industries, Power Generation or Railway Networks.
