Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and specialised Data Centre Capital Strategic Advisor to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic refresh of capitalised labor and interest methodologies, ensuring accurate maintenance expense classification, and driving the consolidation of Financial Planning and Analysis capital reporting. You will join a dynamic Finance team focused on providing high-level expertise in complex financial situations to drive the achievement of our global operational objectives.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities):

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the refresh of capitalised labor and interest methodologies by designing and implementing new processes for forecasting and calculating these metrics to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis teams to manage the consolidation of capital data and negotiate with stakeholders to align on financial outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with organisational standards by conducting specialised reviews of Operating Expenses and evaluating maintenance growth versus recurring capital costs to ensure all classifications are accurate.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Experience)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis with a focus on capital reporting and specialised depth in financial job disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of capitalised labor, interest, and capital/operating expense classification to improve internal financial processes and services.
  • Proven ability in complex problem-solving and stakeholder management, specifically the ability to explain difficult concepts and negotiate different points of view.
  • A relevant degree or certification in Finance or Accounting (such as a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant designation) is preferred to support complex financial modelling.
