1Enable business opportunities through data availability and accessibility. Perform and/or coordinate end-to-end data lifecycle management activities from source to analytics, including movement, storage, modeling, enhancement, integration, quality, and security of data throughout the enterprise. Focus on data reusability, business outcome and cost efficiency.The Data Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving data architecture solutions that enable trusted, high‑quality, and reusable data across the enterprise. This role partners closely with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Product Owners, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data models, integration patterns, and architectural standards that support analytics, reporting, and advanced insights.
The position plays a key role in ensuring data consistency, integrity, security, and accessibility across platforms while supporting a platform‑centric data delivery model.
Design and maintain enterprise and domain‑level data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Define canonical data models, integrative views, and data interface specifications to support cross‑domain analytics and reporting.
Establish and enforce data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across data platforms.
Guide end‑to‑end data lifecycle management, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, consumption, and retirement.
Support data integration strategies across internal and external data sources to enable reliable and timely data movement.
Ensure alignment with data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance requirements.
Partner with Data Product Owners to translate business requirements into data models and architecture designs.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analytics teams, and platform teams to ensure architecture designs are implemented as intended.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders on data architecture decisions and trade‑offs.
Ensure data architecture solutions comply with enterprise data governance, security, and privacy standards.
Support data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage to improve data discoverability and trust.
Contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture maturity and roadmaps.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in data architecture, data modeling, or data platform design within complex enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical) and integration patterns.
Experience working with modern data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and data engineering teams.
Ability to translate business requirements into clear, scalable data architecture designs.
Experience with cloud‑based data platforms and analytics solutions.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality management, and metadata/catalog tools.
Experience working in agile or product‑centric delivery models.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
