Data Analytics & Management - Senior Associate

Role Summary:

The Master Data Management Team provides data management service to various State Street business units across the enterprise. This is a permanent position within the department in Bangalore.

Core/Must have skills:

  • Min a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 2 to 3 year of exp in data analysis, data management or client static data.

  • Preferably experience working with industry standards, reference data, remediation or data quality.

  • Exposure/ working knowledge of creating and maintaining Excel Macros

  • Operational efficiency, Performance and Quality Focus

  • Manages, analyzes, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.

  • Good communication skills to interact with customers, team members, external data providers, and management.

  • Proficient in MS office with excel and word.

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and apply creative thinking to problems and systems/process improvements

  • Provides assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Exposure/ working knowledge of creating and maintaining Excel Macros

Good to have skills:

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to support other staff and to participate in the process to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

  • VBA, SQL, Data Analytics, Data Analytics/ Visualization tools

  • Ability to engage with colleagues from different State Street sites and locally

  • Eye to detail and analytical skills for conducting quality checks, if required
