Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:

  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
  • Strong proficiency with at least Python. Experience with other programming languages like Alteryx, R, SAS, VBA, or C# is nice to have.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies and practical knowledge of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing techniques is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to extract and analyse data from diverse financial and ERP systems, both on-premises and cloud-based platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, applying commercial and risk perspectives.
  • Deliver insightful data analyses and visualisations that inform client decision-making and risk management.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong business diagnostic skills by applying logical, analytical problem-solving approaches.
  • Continuously develop your technical and consulting capabilities to enhance service delivery and client impact.

What type of work will I be doing?

Your work will typically involve:

  • Data extraction, transformation, and analysis using various tools.
  • Designing and delivering compelling data visualisations and presentations.
  • Engaging with clients to understand requirements and communicate findings.
  • Continuous learning and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
  • Exploring new technologies such as AI/ML and applying that to how you deliver engagements.

Who is the Hiring Manager?

You will report to a senior leader with deep expertise in data analytics and consulting, who values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. They foster an inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, continuous improvement, and open communication.

Where is this role based?
