Job Title: Data Analyst

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports To: Integrations & Data Analytics Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: We are expanding our team, looking for a Data Analyst to enable stakeholders to make sense of past and current data and forecast future trends. The ideal candidate will be motivated and detail-oriented who is eager to learn and share their knowledge. Someone who can work collaboratively within a team but who can also effectively work independently.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create custom Power BI dashboards for various audiences, both internal and external
  • Preform data analysis and develop custom reports
  • Facilitate scoping sessions to define a clear understanding of the project deliverables
  • Develop clear scope documents for reporting and analytic projects with minimal guidance
  • Help to create repeatable procedures and standards
  • Help to develop requirements for data reporting needs, translating what people want into technical specs
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Identify data points not currently captured that will bring insight
  • Write clear and concise documentation for developed reports and processes
  • Train end users to use Power BI reports
  • Be a continuous learner
  • Publish regular updates highlighting project recently completed and in progress.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

“THE PERSON” | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, equivalent or closely related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Power BI
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with SQL
  • Functional knowledge of Python and ability to write basic Python scripts
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
  • A team player who also works well independently, thinks creatively, and takes the initiative
  • Ability to travel up to 5% as directed

PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to see, hear, talk, write, read, stand, walk, bend over, and be alert at all times. The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. While infrequent, employee may need to visit warehouse locations in which employee may need to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, drive (vehicle), stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
