Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst supporting AI development, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that inform and optimize AI-driven solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of AI-powered solutions. You’ll contribute to strategic decision-making, model performance evaluation, and data governance in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and prepare structured and unstructured data for AI model training and evaluation.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and provide insights.
  • Conducts data mapping exercises, identifying data sources, understanding data structures, and profiling data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for data-related projects and works closely with data engineers to understand data structures, storage, and retrieval mechanisms, ensuring that insights can be effectively implemented.
  • Translates data-driven insights into clear user stories or business requirements that can guide the development of data-related solutions.
  • Contributes to evidence-based decision-making within the organization, and helps the business understand its performance, uncover trends or anomalies, identifies areas for improvement, and capitalizes on opportunities for growth.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data in a visually understandable manner while communicating findings effectively to all types of stakeholders through compelling narratives supported by visualizations.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate model outputs and guide experimentation.
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with governance standards.
  • Support the deployment and monitoring of AI models in production environments.
  • Stay current with emerging AI tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Amendable to working in QC (hybrid setup) and on a mid-shift schedule (or as required by the business)

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in AI or machine learning environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Power Platforms).
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and ethical AI principles.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and model evaluation metrics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
