Job Summary:

As a Data Analyst Manager on the Data & Analytics team at Impiricus, you will lead and elevate analytical work across commercial operations. You’ll manage and mentor a small team of analysts while also owning high-impact analyses yourself—setting the bar for rigor, narrative clarity, and visual storytelling. This role requires a strong mix of quantitative skill, strategic thinking, process management, and polished communication to drive insights for internal stakeholders and pharmaceutical clients.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Analytical Quality
    • Lead and coach Data Analysts, ensuring high analytical rigor, quality control, and polished narrative output.
    • Set standards for methodologies, visualization practices, and client-ready storytelling.
    • Personally execute complex analyses, modeling best-in-class analytical and communication skills.
  • Campaign Execution and Commercial Insights
    • Lead deep-dive performance analyses, uncovering trends, drivers, and actionable opportunities.
    • Build clear, compelling visual stories tailored to audience needs across Client Services, Sales, and external clients.
    • Develop frameworks, dashboards, and repeatable performance reporting to support ongoing campaign optimization.
  • Business Development Strategy and Support
    • Synthesize performance across brands and therapeutic areas to guide strategic decisions.
    • Support business development with data-backed opportunity assessments and insights from internal and external sources.
    • Manage the delivery of crisp, confident presentations and insight summaries for senior stakeholders.
  • Target List Strategy & Data Operations
    • Oversee the creation, validation, and refinement of HCP target lists.
    • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability in targeting processes, coaching analysts on best practices.
    • Maintain high standards of data hygiene and operational excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Communication
    • Serve as a key analytical partner to Client Services, Sales, Product, and Operations.
    • Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
    • Reliably represent the D&A team in cross-functional discussions and client meetings independently.


Experience:

  • Technical Skills
    • Excel / Google Sheets: expert-level proficiency, including advanced formulas, modeling, and structured analytical workflows.
    • Presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides): expert-level, with a track record of polished, client-ready decks.
    • Experience with visualization and analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, etc.).
    • High proficiency or strong familiarity with SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Professional Experience
    • 3–5+ years in quantitative or analytics-focused roles; healthcare or pharma experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship of analysts or small teams.
    • Proven ability to independently manage complex analytical projects from scoping to delivery.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, persuasive insights.
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multi-project management.

 

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000.
