Data Analyst Intern

GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
The Data Analysis Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment. This position will assist with the creation, documentation, and support of standardized reports from the college's reporting database(s). It may also provide end-user training on report writing software and support users in ad hoc report creation.

This is a hybrid position, with in-office expectations on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Some flexibility for remote work is available.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to clean and process large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.

  • Interpret data findings and present insights in a clear and concise manner through visualizations and reports using Tableau.

  • Enhance data governance, including the data catalog and lineage, by collaborating with business stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Actively pursuing a college credential, preferably in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Development, or a comparable Information Technology program.

Max 28 hours per week

HOURLY RATE:

$15/hour

DURATION OF INTERNSHIP:

This internship can continue until the student’s graduation, depending on performance and availability.
