We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Data Analyst Intern to join our Corporate Finance Technology team for the summer. The intern will play an active role in transforming key finance processes through automation and AI-powered solutions, contributing to initiatives that directly impact the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our financial operations.

What You’ll Do
• Support finance technology teams by automating parts of the month‑end and quarter‑end financial close process.
• Help design and build forecasting automation using Python, SQL, and integrated financial data sources.
• Collaborate across accounting, finance, and engineering to identify workflow bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Contribute to AI‑driven SOP automation by testing and refining document workflows using large language models.
• Assist in developing and improving AI agents that perform routine accounting tasks such as reconciliations and variance analysis.
What You’ll Bring
• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong interest in AI, automation, and modern financial technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid communication and organizational skills, with a willingness to ask questions and solve problems.
• Foundational skills in Python, SQL, and basic data visualization concepts or tools.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, MCP, etc.) or automation tools (UiPath, Alteryx).
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or version control tools like GitHub.
This position will be located in New York City and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $21 - $37. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
