Summer IT Opportunity – Data Analyst Intern

(Enterprise Information Management | Intern-to-Full-Time Pathway)

We’re seeking a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives within our Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team. This role is designed for students graduating in 2026 and provides meaningful, hands-on experience working with real enterprise data, modern analytics platforms, and cross-functional business partners.
 

The internship is intentionally structured as a pipeline into an entry-level Data Analyst role, offering exposure to the tools, practices, and expectations of a full-time analyst in a large, complex organization.
 

Work Arrangement & Program Details

  • Hybrid role with in-office attendance Tuesday through Thursday
  • Remote work on Monday and Friday
  • Full-time internship: June – August
  • Pay: $20/hour

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will support analytics and reporting efforts that help the organization make better, data-informed decisions.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and patterns that support business decision-making
  • Support the BI team by helping provide the “why” behind reports and dashboards through basic analysis and root-cause exploration
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business partners to confirm requirements and validate analytical outputs
  • Assist with testing, data validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data and reports
  • Document data definitions, assumptions, and findings to support transparency and reuse
  • Contribute to enterprise data initiatives tied to EIM priorities, including ERP data preparation, Master Data Management (MDM), data quality efforts, and Power BI modernization
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests as learning opportunities arise
  • Contribute to additional enterprise data and analytics initiatives as appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Expected graduation in Spring or Fall 2026
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with structured datasets
  • SQL fluency, including the ability to write and understand queries with joins, filters, and basic aggregations
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain findings clearly
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks in a professional environment

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Python experience or coursework for data analysis or automation
  • Exposure to Power BI (reports, visuals, or data models)
  • Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (e.g., Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, pipelines)
  • Experience with PowerApps or interest in low-code solutions that extend analytics and data workflows
  • Familiarity with data integration concepts such as ETL/ELT and data validation
  • Experience documenting data, processes, or business rules

Conversion to Full-Time Opportunity!

This internship is designed to be a pipeline into an entry-level Data Analyst role within the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team. Interns who demonstrate strong performance, technical aptitude, and alignment with team values may be considered for a full-time Data Analyst position following successful completion of the internship and graduation in 2026.
 

Consideration for conversion will be based on:

  • Quality and consistency of analytical work and documentation
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply feedback
  • Collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and business partners
  • Demonstrated interest in enterprise data, analytics, and continuous improvement
     

While conversion is not guaranteed, this internship provides meaningful experience, mentorship, and exposure aligned with the expectations of an entry-level Data Analyst role.
