SUMMARY
The Data Analyst, Innovation Center, will be responsible for supporting the innovation efforts of Rochester Regional Health (RRH) and support the shared services function of innovation. The role is a matrixed role that partners with operations and shared services to achieve operational key performance indicators and strategic objectives of the organization. The responsibilities of the role include supporting the RRH organization with business intelligence analysis, performance excellence metrics and initiatives, and business intelligence reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence Informatics / Analysis:
• Responsible for collaborating to acquire data for innovation opportunities.
• Responsible for analyzing data and trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Assists in building insights for organizational innovation performance excellence plans.
Performance Excellence:
• Collects and analyzes data/information or performance excellence and innovation.
• The role will participate in innovation projects and support in monitoring key performance metrics noted as part of the return on investment of the initiative.
• Use the latest technologies to build tools and business insights
Business Intelligence Reporting:
• Designs and creates specifications to support report development.
• Utilizes multiple types of operational, financial, and information technology reporting mediums to create required reporting.
• Understands reporting objectives, gathers data requirements, and creates reporting solutions to accomplish reporting objectives.
• Performs testing, data validations, and end user acceptance to support reporting accuracy and business need satisfaction.
Desired Attributes:
• EPIC Certification highly desirable
• Analytical ability to develop and interpret application of data.
• Technical knowledge of data collection and analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical data analysis software applications.
• 1-5 years of business intelligence or report writing experience preferred.

• Power BI and/or Qlik experience preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in a Data Analytics, Information Technology or related field.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
