Genesys is looking for a Data Analyst to support cost management and vendor strategy through trusted reporting, data analysis, and insight generation. This role will focus on turning fragmented cost, vendor, contract, and usage data into clear reporting and actionable analysis.

The Data Analyst will work across multiple data sources and business processes to improve visibility into spend, usage, trends, and decision drivers.

Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for helping Genesys improve visibility into vendor and technology spend through better reporting, data validation, and analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs related to vendor and technology spend
• Gather, clean, validate, and reconcile data across multiple sources, including contracts, spend reports, usage data, and internal tracking tools
• Support strategic renewal and cost analysis by preparing related reports and identifying key trends or anomalies
• Create reporting that helps stakeholders understand spend patterns, consumption changes, and financial drivers
• Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and opportunities in cost and vendor data, and work with partners to improve data quality
• Automate or streamline recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve scalability
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support business questions, decision-making, and leadership requests
• Partner with vendor, cost management, finance, and operational teams to improve analytical visibility and reporting consistency

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, or related roles
• Strong experience with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets, formulas, pivots, and reporting outputs
• Experience with SQL or similar query tools for data analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience building dashboards or recurring reporting in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate and reconcile data across multiple inputs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting cost management, procurement, vendor management, finance, or technology organizations
• Experience working with cloud, SaaS, software, or consumption-based spend data
• Experience combining data from multiple business systems into cohesive reporting
• Experience identifying trends, anomalies, and root causes in operational or financial datasets
• Experience improving or automating manual reporting workflows
