As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, cleanliness, and reliability of Ensemble’s data across core operational workflows. Working closely with the Director of Data & Platform Operations and the Data Engineer, you will support data ingestion processes, validate outputs, resolve data quality issues, and prepare datasets for reporting, dashboards, and downstream system use.

You will work across CRM (HubSpot), finance-related datasets, partner production reporting, ADX activity, and other internal systems. This role also contributes to building operational discipline around documentation, quality checks, governance, and automation. It is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow their technical skills within a scaling data environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Data Quality, Validation & Cleansing
  1. Perform daily and weekly data validation to ensure ingestion workflows remain accurate and stable across CRM, finance, ADX, and supplier data sources.
  2. Cleanse, standardize, and reconcile datasets, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with the Data Engineer and relevant business teams.
  3. Maintain mapping tables, data dictionaries, and reference datasets that support consistent reporting and automated processing.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Readiness
  1. Prepare clean, validated datasets for reporting needs, including production reporting, profit sharing, and partner performance analytics.
  2. Build and update simple dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to support business units.
  3. Ensure dashboards remain accurate by proactively identifying data anomalies and escalating as needed.
  • Operational Support & Documentation
  1. Track, document, and communicate recurring data issues, edge cases, and resolutions to support operational continuity.
  2. Support the Director in documenting process flows, runbooks, and quality controls across ingestion and internal systems.
  3. Assist with system administration tasks related to data workflows (permissions, updates to lookup tables, structured data prep).
  • Automation Support & Collaboration
  1. Assist in identifying repetitive data tasks that can be automated using AI, Power Automate, Fabric tools, or scripting under the guidance of the Director.
  2. Validate outputs from automated workflows and ensure they meet quality standards.
  3. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by testing, monitoring, and documenting automated processes.
  4. Work with Finance, Supplier Relations, Marketing, and Member Services to investigate data discrepancies and prepare data for business use.
  5. Support internal teams with ad-hoc data queries and ongoing operational reporting needs.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working in Excel, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is an asset.
  • Interest in learning Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, and modern data engineering concepts.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and operational consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Experience with CRM or finance-related data is an advantage.

Who You Are:

  • Curious, coachable, and eager to build technical skillsets over time.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Low-ego collaborator who values clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Thrives in roles that combine problem-solving, structure, and operational discipline.
