Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data analysis, possess a strong analytical mindset, and be eager to contribute to our organization's success. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage data to drive strategic decision-making within the dynamic media landscape.

Responsibilities

 

  • Collect, process, and analyze business-relevant data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with data engineers to translate business requirements and incorporate workflows into effective data solutions
  • Design data storage and structure using tools like Snowflake, AWS or similar data warehousing technologies.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through the development and implementation of data quality checks and procedures.
  • Utilize data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) to create impactful visualizations, charts, and graphs that effectively communicate data insights.
  • Provide data-driven insights, analysis, and recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve and optimize data collection and analysis processes for increased efficiency and accuracy, including use of automation.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and visualization to enhance data-driven decision-making.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business intelligence or data warehousing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in Snowflake or similar data warehousing technologies.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, database design, governance and data architecture concepts.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present insights to business stakeholders and train them on tool usage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with software development concepts and agile methodologies.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

·        Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning is a plus.

  • Experience with 3rd party data providers, DSPs, and SSPs is a plus.
  • Programmatic, Digital, or Media Operations experience is desired (candidates from agency, client, and supply-side backgrounds are welcome).
  • Working knowledge of the media advertising ecosystem is a plus.
  • Light coding knowledge is a plus.

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
