The Data Analyst will support the Data Migration Lead in migrating data from legacy Oracle EBS systems to SAP S/4HANA for the P2I (Plan to Inventory) process. This role requires strong knowledge of P2I business processes and data objects, as well as experience in SAP S/4HANA data migration. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, reconciliation, and verification activities.

This role will manage data requirements and validations for P2I workstreams, collaborate with the migration partner and business teams, and engage global process/data owners to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity, enabling a smooth migration aligned with project timelines and objectives.

Accountabilities
 

  • Data Requirements - Define the migration scope, objectives, and success criteria for Oracle EBS/SAP ECC to S/4HANA (P2I), while documenting requirements and providing insights on legacy data and processes.
  • Data Mapping & Preparation - Create mapping and extraction criteria to ensure data quality for trial loads, while maintaining documentation and supporting the migration partner with scripts and jobs.
  • Data Profiling & Cleansing - Profile data, identify issues, and drive cleansing/validation with process owners.
  • Migration Execution - Support trial loads, reconciliations, and defect resolution; perform pre/post-load checks, report progress, mitigate risks, and coordinate cutover for go-live.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Act as primary contact for P2I migration and Collaborate with global teams and provide regular updates.
  • Data Quality Assurance - Conduct audits, resolve defects, and ensure compliance with governance and regulations.

Essential Skills

  • Strong understanding of Oracle EBS P2I workstreams, related business processes, and data objects.
  • Experience extracting data from Oracle EBS systems.
  • Proficiency in data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques; advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, business process owners, migration partners, and IT teams.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA data models for P2I-related objects will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with data migration tools and methodologies (e.g., SAP Data Services, Syniti).
