Job Description:
GDIT is hiring an associate level data analyst to support the data collection and analysis efforts for monitoring the implementation of a government program with respect to the care and placement of participants in a network of care providers. The Data Analyst Associate will enhance and develop reporting and analytics capabilities, support forecast modeling, develop automated reporting solutions and dashboards, build briefing products, conduct, and deliver analysis, and coordinate/implement data collection efforts.
Position Duties:
Work with domain experts and data analysts to develop reporting products.
Prototype data products and conduct analysis and feasibility based on program requirements.
Build connections, develop reports, and publish data to the development and production environments.
Generate documentation and create presentations.
Support data collection, analysis, and visualization projects as needed; including data modeling, database creation, and technical support.
Conduct high-level data interpretation and statistical analysis using a data analytics platform.
Prepare written summaries and presentations that reflect the results of the data analysis and present findings to agency leadership.
Work with contractor and federal stakeholders to enhance the collection and analysis of program data.
Assist in identifying performance outcomes and indicators.
Assist in the training of contractor and field staff on the use of data collection and analysis tools.
Support ad-hoc data reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with 1+ years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau) and scripting languages (R).
Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with relational databases.
Exceptional analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong attention to detail.
Experience working with immigrants, refugees, and underserved populations is preferred.

Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis

Additional Requirements:
This position requires an existing Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
This role and associated duties will be performed remotely with the potential to perform work on site at a government facility located in Washington, DC at a future date.
The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
