Data Acquisition Associate (12 months Fixed-Term Full-Time)

Synopsis of the Role

The Data Acquisition Associate plays a key role in expanding and strengthening our data ecosystem. This role focuses on identifying, securing, and onboarding new data contributors while driving sustainable membership growth. You will work cross-functionally to ensure smooth end to end onboarding experience, from initial outreach through activation, helping ensure the data we acquire is high quality, compliant and aligned with business needs.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, research and evaluate new data sources and potential data contributors aligned with strategic priorities.

  • Proactively source and engage prospective contributors through targeted market research, outreach and lead development.

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding process, shepherding new contributors from initial contact through contract execution and go live.

  • Drive alignment across internal stakeholders (legal, product, operations, compliance and consumer teams) to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

  • Support membership growth by maintaining a healthy acquisition pipeline and tracking progress against targets.

  • Assist with contract management, including coordination, documentation, and status tracking

  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform acquisition strategies and opportunities

What Experience you Need

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Data analytics, Marketing, IT or related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in data acquisition, partnerships, business development

  • Exposure to data-driven business, platforms, marketplaces, fintech, SaaS or technology environments.

  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify and evaluate new data sources

  • Experience building and managing lead pipelines including outreach, follow-ups and status tracking

  • Excellent stakeholder coordination skills

  • Able to work independently with some guidance

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and onboarding timelines simultaneously.
