SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for managing all fluid cream and condensed skim sales and procurement for the company. Supports the Marketing department with sales functions across all commodities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor market trends for cream and make decisions to optimize sales and/or churning.
  • Conduct weekly spot sales negotiations for cream.
  • Communicate Bills of Lading and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for fluid commodities to customers.
  • Oversee settlements for fluid commodities and coordinate with customers on any loads that fall out of variance.
  • Manage spot purchasing of cream and condensed skim for each facility.
  • Ensure contracts are being met on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics for liquid procurement and liquid sales.
  • Communicates weekly fluid sales with production to prepare weekly production schedule.
  • Oversee daily schedule changes for cream and condensed products.
  • Prepare daily powder orders for the warehouse.
  • Manages weekly packaging schedules for powder.
  • Assist with weekly product sales.
  • Manage truck detention, freight charges, and truck washes to ensure accurate billing.
  • Track and publish monthly reports on day-to-day operations.
  • Provide customer service, including handling delays, updates, and changes.
  • Perform other administrative duties or projects as required or assigned.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discreet handling of all business matters.
  • Adhere to all company safety, work, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.
  • Support a company culture of continuous improvement by participating in effiency and improvement efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including excel spreadsheet applications is required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
