The Secure Connectivity Product & Operational Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of Intelligence products, services and solutions from a marketing mix perspective in the connectivity domain.
Based on the customer needs, he/she is responsible (together with the other stakeholders) for supporting as of need the product strategy & roadmap and implementing the corresponding Marketing Mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) in his/her area of responsibility.
He/she works all along the product value-chain, from a new idea to the attached strategy, implementation and detailed promotional actions plans, communication and digital marketing activities, coordinating closely with the Customer Engagement Marketing team.
He/she also leads the development, implementation and management of detailed promotional action plans, communication and digital marketing activities (as of need) in support of business strategy and sales objectives, coordinating closely with Product Managers and other functions (as needed).
He/ she supports and advises stakeholders with regard to the conversion of product marketing strategies into appropriate promotion strategies and actions to make our products and services successful in the connectivity domain.
Last, he /she manages the interaction with the external markets, customers, and stakeholders by integrating all relevant integrated promotional channels to creatively communicate and strengthen the Airbus Intelligence brand awareness.
She/He will be responsible for developing marketing activities and the marketing team in the DACH region, which includes Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Within the Integrated Space Solutions marketing team, you will be part of the Secure Connectivity team, in charge of connectivity and associated products & services.

Support the development of the product(s) strategy, including the external analysis (market trends & expectations, customer feedbacks & needs, competition benchmark, opportunities & threats, (external) Key Success Factors i.e. what is needed to win) and the internal analysis (Strengths & Weaknesses against the KSF, recommendations, Differentiators & Unique Selling Points (USPs)…), in full cooperation with his/her counterpart in Portfolio / Programmes, and in close collaboration with the relevant internal & external stakeholders.
Define the Marketing Mix (the 4 P’s: Product, Price, Place, Promotion) associated to this/these product(s) (product is to be understood as product or service). This includes notably (but is not limited to):
Manager product offering definition: market positioning, value proposition, pricing strategy, messaging, etc.
Define the go-to-market plan (product launches, product/ service development) and drive execution of deliverables across Portfolio, Sales, Programmes, Marketing and technical teams.
Develop & communicate on new use cases.
Create and maintain sales enablement tools such as internal/ external presentations, technical data sheets, use cases, demos, email campaigns or web content.
Manage the overall execution of promotional marketing campaigns through various channels in coordination with the portfolio/programme product manager and with the Operational Marketing Managers and the Events teams
Support in market & competitive, SWOT, KSFs analysis to the Marketing & Portfolio core team in charge of the process (PG Process) used to manage CI products and make sure the corresponding gates are organized as of need.
Ensure a full knowledge of the operational loop of the product, from the ordering process to the production and delivery.
In cooperation with the portfolio/programme product manager, co-conduct training sessions for Sales & Programmes (and any other relevant stakeholders) to ensure proper awareness and understanding of the new products, services or features.
Ensure products/ services presentation at conferences, tradeshows, webinars and visits, as of need.
Participate to the preparation of customers’ presentations in view of visits and/or events.
Support sales campaigns through various activities, including, customers presentations & meetings, standardized documents (e.g. executive summaries), demonstration organisation, proposals preparation and/or review, etc.
Support in creating Marketing materials for both SatCom services and Ground Systems (visual identity, ppt template, presentation, roll-up, goodies creation, etc.)
Support training on how to improve presentations.
Support major event organization when needed.
Share event best practices.
Develop Marketing campaigns to boost or promote a given activity, product or offer, as of need.
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, Communications (including digital communication)
Any experience in the Connectivity / Satcom business would be a plus.
Ability to develop rigorous strategic analysis.
Creative and innovative, able to develop new ideas to develop our positioning.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing impactful promotional strategies and omnichannel marketing campaigns.
Proven capability to successfully manage the budget for promotional campaigns, their performance and return on investment.
Solid time management and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and result-driven work approach.
Well organized, structured, rigorous and dynamic.
Enthusiastic, creative and well-organised individual, who is driven by developing excellent content that creates engagement; proficient in storytelling
Excellent communication & teamwork skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Fluent written and oral German and English, additional language (French, Spanish) would be a plus.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills as well as Google Suite applications.
This position could require a security clearance or to be eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
The ability to undertake some business trips is assumed.
