D365 CE Functional Consultant (part-time, Mid-Level)

About the Role

Enavate is a US-based IT company and a Microsoft Gold Partner, known for delivering tailored business solutions that help SMB organizations transform their operations. As we continue to expand our client engagements, we are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant to join us as a contractor based in the United States.

This role will start as a part-time engagement with the potential to expand to full-time, depending on project needs and performance.

You will work closely with our delivery teams to implement, configure, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions, particularly Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, Customer Service, and Customer Insights – Journeys, along with Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on consultant who enjoys solving business problems with technology and collaborating with both technical teams and client stakeholders.

Your Impact and Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Configuration

  • Configure and support Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, Customer Service, and Customer Insights – Journeys solutions based on project requirements.
  • Assist with the implementation of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Support the configuration of business processes, workflows, and automation within Dynamics 365.
  • Participate in system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.

Client Collaboration

  • Work with senior consultants and project teams to understand client requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Participate in workshops, requirement discussions, and solution reviews with client stakeholders.
  • Provide functional support and guidance to users during implementation and after go-live.

Solution Delivery Support

  • Assist with data migration, integration support, and solution documentation.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Contribute to testing activities including UAT preparation and validation.

 

What It Takes to Be Successful:

Professional Experience

  • Experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and/or Field Service.
  • Exposure to Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Customer Service is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience configuring workflows, forms, views, and business rules within Dynamics 365.
  • Understanding of CRM concepts, business processes, and automation.
  • Experience supporting data migration or integration activities is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams, consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, distributed environment.

Certifications & Education

  • Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 or Power Platform are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Power Pages and Copilot Agents.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Familiarity with integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Exposure to pre-sales activities or solution demonstrations.
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance (or previous clearance eligible for reactivation) is highly desirable, as some engagements may involve government or public sector projects.

Work Structure & Collaboration

At Enavate, we embrace flexibility in how we work, but we also believe that collaboration is key to our success. Our office locations in Tampa, FL, Fargo, ND, and Kyiv, Ukraine are central to our culture and provide a hub for team interaction and innovation.
