Position Description
As Cycle Counter, you will play a role in maintaining accurate inventory and supporting efficient production operations. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work within defined takt/cycle times. You’ll ensure materials are properly tracked, counted, and recorded while contributing to a clean and organized work environment through 6S practices.
What You Will Do
Perform tasks within established takt/cycle times to meet production goals and customer demand without compromising quality or safety.
Physically count components and parts to reconcile with in-house inventory and ensure accuracy.
Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area and maintain compliance with company standards.
Maintain workplace organization through 6S practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to create a clean, efficient, and safe environment.
Notify appropriate personnel of material shortages or overages promptly to prevent production delays and maintain inventory accuracy.
Update inventory transactions in the computer system to ensure real-time data integrity.
Conduct cycle counts and enter daily production numbers to support accurate reporting and operational planning.
Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional tasks as assigned, inculding the opportunity for overtime.
What You Will Bring
High School diploma or GED.
Experience in shipping and receiving; manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic computer and math proficiency.
Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
Familiarity with RF devices or scanners (preferred).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
