We have an immediate opening for a Cybersecurity Strategy Specialist remote based (U.S.). The Cybersecurity Specialist reports to the Cybersecurity Strategy & Performance Lead.
You will lead a wide variety of projects and drive performance measures across the global Cybersecurity space. Cyber projects range from highly complex technology-based projects, which change technical platforms and architectures, to developing business cases for strategic security investments in people, processes and technology that reduce cyber risk.
As a Cybersecurity Strategy Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing cross functional strategies for the enterprise, plant and pipeline that reduce enterprise cyber risk and deliver measurable business impact. This position requires a strong ability to translate complex security challenges into actionable plans that align with organizational priorities.
Projects are sponsored by our business segments and global process owners, driven by regulatory requirements, while delivering Cybersecurity solutions and services worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Cybersecurity Strategy & Performance objectives by aligning projects with enterprise security goals, risk reduction targets, and compliance requirements.
Drive Risk-Based Initiatives: Lead projects that prioritize risk reduction and resilience across global operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Manage multiple medium and/or moderately complex projects supporting diverse business areas and geographies.
Lead project teams from demand through execution to meet stated business and project objectives.
Establish and measure key project objectives, including security posture improvements and performance metrics.
Business Case Development: Build compelling cases for strategic investments in people, processes, and technology that mitigate cyber risk and enable growth.
Clarify, develop, evaluate, and detail individual project plans.
Strategic Planning & Performance: Develop and manage performance metrics that demonstrate security’s contribution to business outcomes
Work on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies to strengthen organizational resilience.
Ensure project team cohesiveness across multiple locations and diverse cultural backgrounds.
Balance business desires/requirements with DT possibilities and cost constraints.
Provide regular reporting on Cybersecurity performance indicators and strategic alignment.
Qualifications
Experience managing projects that advance Cybersecurity Strategy and measurable performance outcomes.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to align cybersecurity programs with organizational goals.
Proven ability to measure and communicate business outcomes resulting from security investments.
Project experience base including Project Management of Applications Systems and Services, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures.
Experience leading complex, global projects involving technology, process transformation, and regulatory compliance.
Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent highly desired.
Strong ability to build client and customer relationships.
Proven verbal and written communication skills.
