The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Cybersecurity PMO / Project Manager and take a leading role in delivering high-impact cybersecurity initiatives across a global organization. This position offers the chance to shape and execute the company’s cybersecurity strategy by managing complex projects, driving governance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will work at the intersection of technology and business, leveraging advanced tools and automation to enhance PMO capabilities and streamline processes for maximum efficiency.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead and manage cybersecurity projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget
  • Define project objectives, scope, and plans, including milestones, benefits, and risk responses
  • Engage stakeholders to establish priorities and maintain transparent communication
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards and automated workflows using PowerBI and Power Automate
  • Leverage Copilot agentic automation to optimize PMO processes and reporting
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership, highlighting progress and recommendations
  • Facilitate governance by organizing steering committee meetings and ensuring compliance with PMO standards

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in program/project management
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, CISSP, or CISM
  • Strong technical skills in project governance, PowerBI dashboards, workflow automation, and Copilot integration
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in financial analysis and budget tracking
  • Skilled communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders in global, cross-functional environments
  • Ability to work independently with high integrity and adaptability in complex, multicultural settings
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility to work across time zones
