The Opportunity:
Join our team as a Cybersecurity & Software Engineer, where you'll build and secure software systems across the full development lifecycle. You'll work cross-functionally to embed security into everything we ship.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain secure applications and internal tooling
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling
Monitor systems for security incidents and lead remediation efforts
Participate in code reviews with a security-first mindset
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Maintain security tooling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks (NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering and/or cybersecurity
Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or similar
Strong knowledge of networking, OWASP Top 10, and MITRE ATT&CK
Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with Linux and CLI tooling
Desired:
CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or Security+ certification
Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP)

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$71,500 - $150,200
