The Manager – CyberLife plays a pivotal role in aligning technical expertise, business goals, and team leadership. This high-visibility, strategic role supports the development and delivery of DXC’s CyberLife product vision and roadmap.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical and business acumen with hands-on experience in product testing, process improvement, and leadership within the insurance domain. This role requires close collaboration with onshore and offshore teams to ensure successful project execution while maintaining DXC’s quality, reliability, and performance standards.
Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore CyberLife teams, ensuring alignment across global delivery models.
Drive execution of product enhancements and new functionalities in line with customer requirements and DXC’s strategic objectives.
Ensure the CyberLife product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance via effective testing and continuous improvement.
Develop and review test scenarios, test cases, and validation frameworks for new and existing functionalities.
Provide technical and business guidance to team members, promoting collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery and timely issue resolution.
Support process optimization and improvements in CyberLife online and batch processing architecture.
Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Serve as a liaison between engineering, product management, executive leadership, and external partners or clients.
Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and technology investments to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
Identify technical and organizational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential adoption in alignment with DXC’s strategic goals.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), project milestones, and delivery timelines to ensure project success.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of hands-on programming experience on CyberLife, including Mainframe and Micro Focus COBOL.
Experience with Micro Focus Enterprise Products: Enterprise Developer, Enterprise Server, Net Express, Mainframe Express.
Strong knowledge of COBOL, VSAM, JCL, REXX, CICS.
Hands-on experience in both online and batch CyberLife systems.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS EC2, S3, ELB, Autoscaling, AMI virtual machines).
Experience in legacy-to-cloud modernization projects.
Agile/JIRA experience and familiarity with onshore–offshore delivery models.
Experience in North American Life Insurance services projects.
Strong analytical, coding, and technical documentation skills.
Experience implementing testing strategies and driving product quality improvements.
Proven leadership experience: recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineering managers and senior engineers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong understanding of large-scale system architectures and IT operations.
Ability to identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
Life Insurance domain knowledge is a strong advantage.
