Job Description
This role is responsible for leading the technical aspects of cyber security project deployments, ensuring on time, on scope, and on budget
completion. He/she will be a champion of security best practices, driving innovation and maintaining stringent compliance across all solutions.
Project Deployment
- Lead the technical aspect of cyber security projects
- Make key deployment decisions for security infrastructure, tooling, and threat prevention platforms.
- Ensure all security configurations meet stringent performance, scalability, and security standards, adhering to industry best
practices. - Act as the bridge between Project Manager and vendor technical team regarding technical matters of cyber security projects.
- Track progress of security-related tasks and ensure timely and secure delivery.
- Develop onboarding materials and run knowledge-transfer sessions for deployed security solutions.
Security Architecture and Implementation
- Design and maintain resilient and scalable security infrastructure (on-premise or cloud) to protect against evolving threats.
- Recommend, manage and enhance available security tools and processes.
- Automate security provisioning, configuration management, and incident response processes to enhance efficiency and reduce human error.
Maintain Documentation and Compliance
- Create and update comprehensive cyber security project documentation, including architecture diagrams, security policies, and incident response plans.
- Ensure all deployments and configurations comply with internal security requirements, regulatory standards, and the project deployment lifecycle.
- Champion best practices, security standards, and innovation throughout the solution lifecycle.
Top 3-5 Deliverables
- Updated Technical Implementation Plan (TIP) document.
- Incident Resolution and Documentation: Timely resolution of reported issues, along with comprehensive documentation of actions taken and preventative measures for future incidents.
- Up-to-Date Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of a project to include project timeline, scope of work, low level solutions diagram, method of procedure, and acceptance criteria.

- Capable of leading technical discussions, collaborate with Solutions Consultants, Sales, and Product teams, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Hard Skills
- Experience in deploying and managing network security devices like Fortigate, Checkpoint, Sophos, and Palo Alto.
- Experience with endpoint security, VAPT tools and methodologies, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and secure code review.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and security orchestration, automation, and
response (SOAR) tools is a plus. - Capable of identifying root causes of security incidents and implementing reliable solutions.
KPI's
- Project Deployment Success Rate: Percentage of project deployments completed successfully without errors and within the specified timelines.
- Incident Response Time: Average time taken to respond to and resolve security and cloud-related incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Compliance Adherence: Percentage of deployments and configurations that comply with internal requirements and project deployment life cycle.
- Documentation Quality: Completeness of project documentation, ensuring it is up to date.
