Cyber Security Program Manager, Enterprise Data Organization

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Program Manager to lead large-scale security remediation and compliance programs within our Enterprise Data Organization. The ideal candidate brings a proven blend of technical cyber security expertise, program management discipline, and executive-level communication skills to drive strategic security initiatives that protect sensitive data assets at enterprise scale.

This role will oversee cross-functional security remediation efforts, vulnerability management programs, risk tracking frameworks, and regulatory compliance initiatives across global data platforms and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end security remediation programs for high-impact vulnerabilities (e.g., Zero Trust implementation, cloud security posture management, data encryption at scale).
  • Design and manage enterprise-wide security tracking dashboards and reporting frameworks (using tools like ServiceNow or custom GRC platforms).
  • Coordinate with engineering, data governance, compliance, and risk teams to prioritize and execute remediation roadmaps.
  • Drive program governance – including steering committees, risk review boards, and executive status reporting.
  • Establish KPIs, KRIs, and SLAs to measure program effectiveness and security posture improvement.
  • Manage third-party vendors and MSPs involved in security tooling and remediation services.
  • Facilitate audit readiness and support internal/external audits related to data security programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – required.
  • Additional relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC, CISA, CompTIA Security+, AWS/Azure Security Specialty) –desirable.
  • 8+ years of experience in cyber security, with 5+ years in program/project management.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale security remediation programs (e.g., patching 10,000+ systems, cloud misconfiguration fixes, legacy system decommissioning).
  • Deep expertise in security tracking and reporting – building metrics, dashboards, and automated workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with GRC platforms
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data environments – data lakes, warehouses, ETL pipelines, PII/classified data handling.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with program delivery models.
  • Background in risk quantification and security ROI analysis.
  • Ability to translate technical risks into business impact narratives for C-suite audiences.
  • Prior success in maturing security programs from reactive to proactive/posture-based models.
