As a Cyber Security Field Service Engineer your role will be essential to the operations, maintenance, and delivery of our proprietary tools. What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related professional experience
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Provide field engineering support for deployment, integration, and sustainment of mission systems
Install, configure, and troubleshoot specialized cyber platforms within customer environments
Support operational users by diagnosing and resolving technical issues in real time
Coordinate with development and engineering teams to resolve system defects and improve reliability
Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration management activities
Provide technical guidance to stakeholders during deployments and system migrations
Work closely with mission operators to understand current operational requirements and identify future capability needs based on real-world system usage
Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Ability to work independently in high-tempo operational environments
Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and operational users
Customer-facing experience supporting mission systems
Excellent customer service skills, writing ability and work ethic
Learn to become expert on the installation, configuration and operation of Parsons developed software tools
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification
Daily on customer-site work location in the Ft. Meade area is required
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Providing emergency technical support for critical customer cyber infrastructure as a field service representative
Integrating and deploying cyber capability components within customer networks
Supporting deployment and integration of operational cyber firing platform components
Supporting reliability improvements or innovation within cyber capabilities, including contributions to intellectual property or internal innovation efforts
Supporting containerized platforms and distributed systems, including experience assisting with Kubernetes platform migrations or deployments
Implementing cloud-based infrastructure and services (AWS/Azure) to support development and operational environments
Developing and maintaining DevSecOps pipelines, including use of GitHub Projects, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD workflows to continuously build, test, and deploy applications to operational stakeholders
Experience with modern DevSecOps tooling and processes, including automated builds, deployment pipelines, containerized services, and secure software delivery practices
Providing technical guidance to engineers and stakeholders during platform integration, deployment, or migration efforts
