Role Description:
Cyber Range Engineers (CREs) design, build, and maintain Cyber Terrain environments to support Cyber Units and customers. They possess the cyber-specific expertise to ensure scenarios meet training, exercise, or certification objectives at individual, collective, or joint levels, as endorsed by the CROM. CREs understand range capabilities, assess feasibility of requirements, and provide technical SME advice to enable effective communication between the Range Operations Support Team and Cyber Units. They also handle range maintenance, remediation, and conduct Net Validation (NETVAL) activities
The Defence School of Space and Cyber (DSSpC) within Joint Training Command, JCG is responsible for training and developing the workforce to be ready to operate in the Space and Cyber Domains to enable ADF operations and to defeat emerging cyber threats to Australia and its national interests.
Essential Requirements:
Appropriate SANS Cyber Courses - level 4 technical and above and/or Bachelor of Computer Science/ICT or above plus Cyber or equivalent certifications.
Required Security Clearance Level: NV1 or higher
