The Opportunity:
Designs, implements, integrates, and maintains systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.
You Have:
8+ years of experience in DoW IL4+ environments
Experience in 2 or more Cyber fields, including AWS Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Elastic SIEM Engineering
Experience in Core services depth, such as EC2, S3, EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or KMS
Experience in CI/CD pipeline design, such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
Experience in Index lifecycle management and cluster performance tuning
Experience in VPC architecture, IAM policies, roles, and cross-account patterns
Experience in Terraform, including writing modules or managing state, Python or Bash for automation, log parsing, and tooling
Experience with cross-domain solutions and multi-classification environments
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in DevOps, or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience in Air-gapped or disconnected deployment
Knowledge of STIG hardening and compliance scanning, such as ACAS, Nessus, or SCAP
Knowledge of detecting engineering methodology, including ATT&CK mapping or purple team validation
Knowledge of Kubernetes
Ability to troubleshoot at the network and API level
CKA or CKAD Certification
Security+ Certification
GIAC certifications, such as GCDA, GCIA, or GCIH Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
