The Opportunity:

As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that real battles are often won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can apply your cyberspace operations experience to build solutions that will be executed on a global stage. We’re looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to put your knowledge of network and endpoint security tools, JOPES, cyber threat intelligence, operations planning, cyber threat signatures, and monitoring tools into action to strengthen our nation’s defense.

In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses and assess the effectiveness of mitigation strategies across cybersecurity solutions. You’ll leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds and develop informed briefings for senior leadership aligned to critical mission needs and national security priorities.

This is an opportunity to use your research and analytical expertise to assess adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures and provide timely insight to operators, senior leaders, and commanders. Your contribution will play a vital role in shaping operations plans and enabling effective command and control.

You Have:  

• 5+ years of experience developing and delivering cyber training or instruction within the DoD
• Experience with DoD cybersecurity or defensive cyber tactics
• Experience using instructional design tools such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas
• Experience with Air Force or Joint Cyber Training frameworks
• Ability to evaluate trainee performance and align learning outcomes to mission readiness metrics
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8140 baseline Level II Certification such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or DoD Cyber Workforce Framework Certification

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience supporting Air Force Cyber Mission Forces
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) integration
• Experience designing scenario-based or hands-on lab training
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, for classroom and virtual instruction
• Bachelor’s degree
• Instructional Design Certification such as CompTIA CTT+, ATD Master Trainer, or ADDIE Certification

Clearance: 
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
