We’re looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to put your knowledge of network and endpoint security tools, JOPES, cyber threat intelligence, operations planning, cyber threat signatures, and monitoring tools into action to strengthen our nation’s defense.
In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses and assess the effectiveness of mitigation strategies across cybersecurity solutions. You’ll leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds and develop informed briefings for senior leadership aligned to critical mission needs and national security priorities.
This is an opportunity to use your research and analytical expertise to assess adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures and to provide timely insight to operators, senior leaders, and commanders. You Have:
5+ years of experience developing and delivering cyber training or instruction within the DoD
Experience in DoD cybersecurity or defensive cyber tactics
Experience using instructional design tools such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas
Knowledge of Air Force or Joint Cyber Training frameworks
Ability to evaluate trainee performance and align learning outcomes to mission readiness metrics
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8140 Baseline Level II Certification such as Security+, CySA+, or CISSP Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience supporting Air Force Cyber Mission Forces
Experience designing scenario-based or hands-on lab training
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) integration
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills for classroom and virtual instruction
Bachelor’s degree
Instructional Design Certification such as CompTIA CTT+, ATD Master Trainer, or ADDIE Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
