What will you do?
Manage and ensure compliance with customs regulations in foreign trade operations, guaranteeing the efficient clearance of goods, minimizing legal risks, and optimizing time and costs.
How will you do it?
Coordinate import and export processes.
Review and validate documents: invoices, customs entries (customs declarations), certificates of origin, packing lists.
Ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations (local and international standards).
Tariff classification of goods (HS Code).
Follow-up on shipments and customs clearance.
Management with customs brokers, carriers, and authorities.
Control of incidents: delays, fines, and holds.
Internal audits and compliance.
Keep the customs operations database updated.
Optimization of import/export costs.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
Customs law and foreign trade regulations.
International treaties.
Tariff classification.
Incoterms.
IMMEX program.
Customs documentation.
ERP systems (SAP, etc.).
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Conversational English.
