Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with all customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all required documentation is collected from customers for accurate and efficient customs processing.
- Execute customs operations (import, export, transit) across sea, road, air, and border‑crossing points.
- Submit customs declarations in full compliance with:
- HS codes
- Cargo descriptions
- Cargo value
- Freight and insurance values
- Develop and maintain SOPs aligned with local customs regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of all declarations and transit movements.
- Execute financial activities accurately, including validation and justification of disbursement invoices.
- Ensure customer requirements are fully met while maintaining compliance standards.
- Perform tasks according to operational standards and Operating Manuals.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity and customer experience.
- Ensure 100% compliance with customs regulations.
Who We Are Looking For
Someone with:
- Relevant Customs Clearance qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and systems.
- Experience in customs operations, preferably across import/export/transit.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with proactive problem‑solving ability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A strong execution mindset with high attention to detail.
- Customer‑centric and solution‑oriented approach.
- Analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
