Dear Customer Value Proposition Specialist

The Customer Value Proposition (CVP) Specialist is responsible for the end to end execution, monitoring, and continuous optimisation of Credit Card customer value management (CVM) campaigns and initiatives. The role ensures campaigns and initiatives are delivered with excellence, aligned to business priorities, and are continuously refined to drive base growth, engagement, retention, and incremental revenue.The Specialist plays a critical role in translating strategy into execution, enabling product penetration, usage growth, and overall lifetime value improvement for credit card customers.

Are you someone who can do the following:

1. Strategy Execution & Business Delivery

  • Translate customer value growth strategies into actionable plans with clear performance metrics and tracking mechanisms.
  • Execute initiatives that support revenue, and product penetration targets for the credit card CVM portfolio.
  • Build and strengthen collaborative relationships across business units to enable seamless delivery of CVM initiatives.

2. Campaign Operations

  • Lead the execution of multi-channel CVM campaigns (SMS, email, push, in-app, etc.).
  • Work closely with analytics, IT, marketing, and data teams to ensure timely and accurate campaign build, QA, and deployment.
  • Maintain and manage campaign calendars to ensure alignment with business priorities and capacity.
  • Ensure efficient processes, documentation, and governance for all campaign activities.

3. Performance Tracking & Insights

  • Monitor campaign performance including conversion, engagement, uplift, and churn metrics.
  • Develop performance reports for internal stakeholders, supported by data management teams.
  • Identify underperforming campaigns and propose corrective actions aligned to business outcomes.
  • Present insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Recommend and implement innovative or cost‑saving approaches to enhance CVM performance.

4. Stakeholder & Governance Management

  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to internal governance, risk protocols, and data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA).
  • Maintain accurate documentation, audit trails, and compliance records.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in CVM, marketing, or related customer strategy roles.
  • Preferred: Related qualification
  • Demonstrated understanding of CVM methodologies, principles, processes, and tools.
  • Experience in end-to-end campaign management across digital and direct channels.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in financial services or credit products (advantageous).
